Congratulation goes out to chapter member David Montgomery, V.P. of I.T., Cardinal Health in Columbus. David won the President's Award for IT Leadership in the Black Engineer of the Year Awards. Quote from page 50 of U.S. Black Engineer Winter 2010 edition: "I have had the pleasure of working with David for over 10 years, first at IBM and then at Nationwide Insurance", said Srini Koushik, senior vice president and chief information officer, Nationwide Services. "In his past role, David took on a troubled IT organization, turned it around in 12 months, and successfully handled some very tough situations that few leaders have faced in their careers" David has coordinated and sponsored two major events for BDPA at Cardinal Health. His leadership, peers, direct reports and HR supported his efforts. BDPA is looking forward to continuing to work with David. Congratulations, David!!

Dear BDPA Family,
On behalf of the Columbus Chapter of BDPA, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. By now, you have started thinking and hopefully written down your New Year resolutions. This is one of the most important times of the year because you give yourself time to dream about the future. You set your eyes on goals for the year. You envision what your life will look like when you reach your goals. Well, here at BDPA we set our eyes on the future as well. We are excited about the upcoming year because we see how as an organization we have the opportunity to affect and improve our members, stakeholders, and community lives.
