Summary
This is a software Quality Assurance (QA) position that will contribute to ensuring the quality of E-cubed and patent applications developed for Editorial by Editorial IT (D26).

Requirements:

• A degree in Chemistry, Information Technology or related field, with minimum 3 years experience
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in QA test planning and execution
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience to design and create tools to support QA efforts
• Knowledge of Editorial databases and CAS database building process helpful
• Programming experience in an object oriented or modern scripting language helpful

Duties:

• Define, estimate, and execute cost-effective test plans
• Work closely with requirements analysts and Editorial users to refine requirements and ensure the quality aspects of the applications meet user and business needs
• Evaluate and report test results, tracking defects through the test cycle
• Work with Editorial IT to establish effective test environments, investigate software defects, and develop or acquire testing tools.
• Assess production readiness of applications and systems developed by Editorial IT.

Requirements:
     • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/or equivalent SAP experience. 
     • Breadth and depth of ABAP experience, based on at least 5-10 years of experience across several SAP R/3 and ECC implementations. 
     • Strong  ABAP development skills, as applied to implementing and supporting a reliable, extendable SAP ECC SD/FI data architecture and  functional infrastructure based on complex business rules.  
    • Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with end user areas and IT colleagues on architecture/infrastructure planning, business       requirements clarification, functional/technical solution design/implementation, and production support. 
    • Experience with assuming task ownership and providing project leadership for coordinated efforts. 
    • Strong interaction, facilitation, and presentation skills.


Duties:
The candidate will provide strategic and tactical support for the SAP ECC system and other systems, as assigned.  Serve as a team player willing to accept the full range of system development and maintenance responsibilities, primarily with SAP ECC.  Help drive the evolving SAP ECC solution architecture.  Support implementation of new functionality and enhancements to existing functionality to meet business needs.  Ensure cross-project collaboration and coordination with SAP BW/CRM and other Non-SAP systems' teams regarding shared data entities.
