The objective of the Association is to:

• Raise the level of technical ability of the membership.
• Improve the managerial and interpersonal skills of the membership.
• Educate the membership on issues relating to career development and career management.
• Provide a forum for professional and business networking.
• Develop a means to match the needs of business community with the skills of minorities in the Information Processing industry.
• Develop a method of sharing the skills and knowledge of successful minority business persons with other interested organizations.
• Establish media to highlight business and professional achievements of minority entrepreneurs of the information processing industry.
• Offer expertise to those minorities evaluating data processing for future career and business potential.
