The Ray Miller Institute for Change & Leadership The 10-week course provides leadership training in critical areas such as: identifying community needs and resources; effective communication; ethics and values; grassroots organization; media relations; organizational and business development; relationship building; and philanthropy. The Institute is open to anyone aged 21 or older who has a desire to become a change agent within his/her community. Applications are available online and are due by 5pm, Monday, February 1, 2010, to AAAS CEC, 905 Mt. Vernon Ave., Cols., OH 43203, attn: Carla Wilks. The Ray Miller Institute for Change and Leadership is presented by The Ohio State University Department of African American and African Studies Community Extension Center and The OSU Office of Continuing Education.
